3 T’s – Tacit knowledge, trust-based relationships and talent development

This is John Hagel, one of the authors of The Power of Pull: How Small Moves, Smartly Made, Can Set Big Things in Motion which I have referenced in other posts. It is a video of him summarizing certain aspects of presentations at the Techonomy Conference that took place about a month ago.

The video appeared in a reference from others and I offer it here because, although Hagel expands the subject to global concerns, he identifies the importance of certain core values, “three t’s – tacit knowledge, trust-based relationships, and talent development.” These all take time to develop and require, I believe, some aspect of shared context (physical or virtual place or space).

The video seems, therefore, relevant and reinforcing to this recent series of posts.
